A news release from the ABS-CBN Channel 2 just the other day, tells of the new possible jobs in Cyprus for Pinoys (OFW). This is if the economic recession will not push through in that part of Greece in Cyprus. Application for the said Cyprus jobs will soon open applications according to some local agency owners from Cyprus.
The jobs were said to be pointed at Limassol and Larnaca in Cyprus. Different jobs included in the list include electricians, chef, concrete finishers, manicurists and labor workers. These job listings will be expected to open up for Filipinos early next year by February. Today, there are thousands of OFWs working in Cyprus for different households as household helpers and a Filipino was interviewed and she lives already in Cyprus with a business there, a mini grocery.

Gr8t, I hope its a wide variety of skills like fishermen, deckhand or delivery van driving. Preferring those with NO overseas work experience but compensated with extensive local employment background. New to overseas work is nothing but a cliche for cultural shock.
