Japan Will Soon Need Caregivers and Nurses

Japan has expressed early this year an intention to get caregivers and nurses from the Philippines who would be interested to work in their country. To my surprise, I didn’t expect anything like this to be offered to the Philippines knowing that there is an existing problem according to Philippine nurses on the type of treatment that the Japan government has entered in the JPEPA agreement or so.

According to Filipino nurses, this will put down their dignity as the price of their labor becomes totally cheaper than candies that you can buy in the sidewalk. This is very degrading to the prestige and honor of the Filipino nurse but what I doubt here is if this reason in enough to make a halt to those nurses who would do anything to get to Japan and work as a nurse there.

Sometimes, you really need to know what works and what doesn’t in order to see throug it that you will be rewarded by your actions at the end of the day. This is what it seems that the Japanese government is exploiting from Filipino nurses in this case. Although I do not really exactly know what is going on, I can understand that the nurses concern is to uplift their line of workers who are professional graduates and qualified nurses with respective license to wave around and not just some claimants who want to be known with qualifications. Ths is not so good but I will tell you that this is where we learn from experience.
